The Federal tax Authority ("FTA") has opened up the pre registration window for obtaining registration under the recently introduced Corporate Tax in UAE. The user interface of the Emaaratax portal of the UAE FTA clearly shows the preparation already done by the government to make the Corporate tax introduction a sucess. With the Corporate Tax applicability timelines are coming closer, the business fraternity is under a dilemma of where to start involving themselves with the new Corporate Tax.

While you may find a lot of Accountants and Tax Attorneys sending you daily updates of whats going on w.r.t the Corporate Tax implementation by the FTA, however, it is suggested to the businesses to keep a distance and start gearing up with the internal processes to improve financial reporting and internal control mechanism within the business before proceeding further with the registration process.
